About Me

I am a chartered clinical psychologist, who aims to understand people and support them on their inner journey. I offer psychological support, counseling and clinical psychological treatment to young people and adults in my private practice in English, Turkish or German.

My Educational Background

 

After completing my bachelor's degree in psychology at the Istanbul University, I continued my studies at the University of Vienna and graduated with a master's degree in psychology. I then completed my post-graduate clinical psychology training at the Austrian Academy of Psychology (AAP) and entered the Austrian Ministry of Health's list of clinical psychologists.

 

 

My Work Experience

 

I have provided psychosocial counseling and job coaching in various projects. During my postgraduate clinical psychology training, I worked with children with congenital metabolic diseases and their families at Vienna General Hospital (AKH). I have also worked at Women's Health Center FEM Süd in Kaiser-Franz-Josef-Spital (Klinik Favoriten), where I provided clinical psychological diagnosis, treatment and counseling.  I currently offer psychosocial counseling, in Turkish, at FEM Süd and work with young adults and adults in my private practice in Turkish, English and German.

 

I work with a variety of issues, such as:

  • Anxiety disorders (e.g. panic attacks, general anxiety)

  • Burnout syndrome

  • Relationship or marital issues

  • Difficult life events (e.g. divorce, loss of a loved one)

  • Psychosomatic issues
